PhD Thesis of the Year 2022

Turku Cancer Research Society invites any student having defended a PhD thesis related with cancer to apply for the PhD thesis of the Year Award 2022!   The purpose of the award is to highlight talented early career researchers and the impact of cancer research conducted in Turku. The award (500 €, funded by Sirpa and Markku Jalkanen Foundation) will be presented in the society´s Christmas seminar event on 13th of December 2022. The recipient of the award will be invited to give a short talk in the seminar.   Apply for the award by submitting an email application (check instructions below) to the secretary of the Society (contact-tcrs@lists.utu.fi or gmartine@abo.fi) no later than the 11th of November 2022. The winner will be contacted by the 23-25th of November.
