Christmas Seminar “Cancer Research in Companies”
Turku Cancer Research Society invites all cancer researchers to our Christmas Seminar on 3 December 2024 at Alhopuro Auditorium (MedC). Everyone is welcome, from students, researchers and medical doctors. This year there will be several interesting talks by cancer researchers working in different Finnish companies. The winner of the Best Cancer Research Thesis Award will also present his/her thesis (award sponsored by Sirpa and the Markku Jalkanen foundation).
As is tradition, we will have a Christmas dinner for the society members, thanks to our sponsors “ThermoFisher and BioNordika”

GRANT CALL – Turku Cancer Research Society invites applications for working grants!
The grant money is donated by Kalmar Global/Cargotec as a part of their Movember campaign, and the aim of the grants is to support and encourage prostate cancer research in Turku. TCRS will award four-five, 2000 – 2500€ (depending on degree/month) working grants.
